Fees & Costs

The Process Simplified:

Attorney Fees

Purchase our services online by inputting your payment information into our secure online processing site.

For your convenience, we accept a wide range of credit cards, as well as other forms of payment.”

Our legal fees are some of the most competitive and reasonable in the market. Due to the volume of tickets we handle, we can afford to reduce our fees. To determine the amount of legal fees there are several factors that will be considered.  Some of these factors include the seriousness of the traffic matter, the number of traffic violations cited for, whether there was an accident involved, past driving record, and others.  The amount of legal fees will vary depending on these circumstances.

Your representation does not begin until you have paid all attorney fees in full.  Although modification of attorney fees is rare, sometime potential clients lack experience or knowledge of the legal system and may cause submission of information that may not reflect the seriousness of the traffic matter.  We reserve the right to modify the attorney fee if the complexity of the case is more than originally expected due to additional facts not revealed by client at initial submission of the case or if the client’s attorney expectations change during the course of representation.

Please note that the attorney fee quoted does not include a trial.

Court Costs

Court costs are the fees charged for the use of a court to process your ticket.  Court costs are mandated by city, county and state law.  These costs are used to maintain the court system, court operations and the costs of court employees.  The costs are different depending on the offense and on the jurisdiction; therefore, it is hard for an attorney to estimate your court costs upfront.  You will be required to pay the court costs after your ticket is resolved or after a plea agreement has been reached.

Payment of court costs will be time-sensitive -- the court will set a deadline for payment, and if you fail to pay, the judge can revoke your plea agreement and issue a warrant for your arrest!

Fines

This is what the court charges as a penalty for breaking the law.  A fine is punishment.  The amount of fine the court assesses is determined by the facts and circumstances of the case.  Mitigating circumstances may lower the fine, even if you are found guilty.  On the other hand, aggravating circumstances may increase the fine.  When entering into a plea agreement, the defendant agrees to plead guilty or no contest in exchange for some agreement from the prosecutor as to the punishment.  Sometimes your plea agreement may require that you pay a fine as a penalty for breaking the law.  Once again, we cannot estimate this cost upfront; only after reaching a plea agreement will we be able to tell you if you will need to pay a fine.

You will be required to pay any fines after your ticket is resolved or after a plea agreement has been reached.

Payment of fines will be time-sensitive -- the court will set a deadline for payment, and if you fail to pay, the judge can revoke your plea agreement and issue a warrant for your arrest!

Fees

Under certain circumstances you may be required to attend alternative sentencing programs.  Alternative Sentencing is a sentencing program that is an alternative to jail. The judge may use this alternative sentencing program to deliver an appropriate punishment and one the prosecutor will accept. Alternative sentencing programs operate to help communities as well as offer defendants who make a serious commitment to turn their life around the opportunity to do so.   These programs charge you a fee for the cost of performing a service to the public.

Under your plea agreement, you may be required to attend driving school or, in rare circumstances, perform community service through what is called an "alternative sentencing" program.  These programs incur costs of operation, and they recoup that cost by charging fees to the individuals who take part in their programs.  Thus, if you attend a driving program, you will be required to pay a tuition fee to the driving school. Or if you perform community service, you will be required to pay a fee to the organization that coordinates your community service efforts.  We cannot estimate this cost upfront; only after reaching a plea agreement will we be able to tell you what the fee will be.

Payment of fees will be time-sensitive -- the court will set a deadline for completion of an alternative sentencing program, and if you fail to pay, you may not be able to complete the program before the deadline and the judge may issue a warrant for your arrest!
