How It Works

The Process Simplified:

1.) Submit your ticket

When you receive a traffic ticket, simply come to TxTrafficTickets.com, click on "Submit Ticket", and you will be taken into the system. Enter your ticket information into our online database and one of our attorney’s will review your case to determine whether or not we agree to represent you.

While you enter your information, you will also create a log-in account.  After you create a log-in account, you can revisit your account as often as you like to check on the status of your case.

Submitting your ticket does not obligate you to hire us; instead, it simply gives us the information necessary to evaluate your case and present you a quote for fees.

2.) Wait for response

After you have submitted your ticket information online, you will receive a confirmation to the email account you have provided.  If you do not receive an email confirmation, that means that your information was not properly submitted and you need to resubmit your ticket information.  An attorney will then reply within 24 hours of submission. The attorney may either ask for more information if needed or send you a fee quote.  If an attorney has not replied within 24 hours, you can resubmit your ticket information or you may call or email us.

Please check your account periodically as emails can sometimes be treated incorrectly as spam, based upon the way your email account is configured.

3.) Pay the legal fee

After an attorney reviews your traffic matter, you will be sent a quote of how much the legal fee is in order to represent you in your traffic matter.  You can pay the legal fee online by submitting payment information into our secure online processing site.
Please note that only after you pay the legal fee in full, will we begin working on your case.  No attorney-client relationship is formed until payment of the fees is made.

4.) Relax and let your attorney do the work for you

In most cases an attorney can limit the number of times that you will have to appear in court and depending on the jurisdiction you may not even have to appear in court at all. Don’t worry about missing work or having to leave your home in order to take care of a traffic ticket problem.  Just sit back and relax while your attorney fights to protect your driving record, your driving privileges, your insurance rates and in some cases can even get your ticket legally dismissed.

Through our system, the attorney who will defend you in your traffic ticket matter can defend you in many ways.  The attorney is familiar with the legal court system and the appropriate rules that govern these types of cases and can assist you with proven strategies to help reduce the chance of conviction.  Your attorney's job is to know the prosecutors, work with them, and to obtain the best legal result according to the objectives and priorities of your representation.  Just sit back and relax while your attorney protects your driving record, your insurance rates and your driving privileges!

5.) Pay any fines, fees or court costs.

You will owe the court some money to recover the costs of running the court system, called "court costs." The costs are set by statute or local ordinance and are charged on every ticket. You may also owe some fees or fines, depending on the plea offer entered into.

However, if we are able to obtain an outright dismissal, you may owe the court nothing.

6.) Plea agreement

A plea agreement is an agreement in a criminal case in which a prosecutor and a defendant arrange to settle the case against the defendant. The defendant agrees to plead guilty or no contest in exchange for some agreement from the prosecutor as to the punishment.  The plea agreement entered into will depend primarily on the circumstances of the case and your past driving record.  A plea bargain can also include the prosecutor agreeing to reduce the charges, and dismissing some of the charges against the defendant.

Many people will receive only a "good behavior" probation from the court.  If they successfully complete the probationary period without receiving a moving violation anywhere in the State of Texas, the original charge will be dismissed.  Others may be required to go to driving school or may be required to perform community service.  Once you complete your end of the deal, you're done!
